It seems that they acquired quite a bit of property from their neighbors to transform a house into a store and to expand the sunflower field, which is now much... read more It seems that they acquired quite a bit of property from their neighbors to transform a house into a store and to expand the sunflower field, which is now much larger than when Grinter Farm was first featured in the news. I've visited twice, and I feel like the novelty has worn off. If you're planning to visit, be sure to bring clippers to cut the sunflowers; I saw many damaged plants from visitors attempting to pluck them. Also, the orange beetles you might see are Goldenrod soldier beetles, along with wild bees and honey bees. So, no need to panic!
