Lucky Seb's Dumplings, Chicken Bbq

Had the Classic Pork Dumplings and the Soup of the Day. I’d give 5 star rating for taste, prep-time, quality and price. Definitely a place to be frequented.

We made reservations to celebrate my birthday. The service we received was excellent,servers were great. Dumplings, soup, salad , everything we ordered was hot and made fresh. Their new addition is adds to a comfortable dining. By the way the pomegranate/cranberry margaritas were light and refreshing. If you haven’t been there you should try it you can sit and watch your meal be prepared by the excellent personable cooks on duty.

This was our first time visiting Lucky Seb's and when we arrived a bit after noon we were the only ones there... Not a good sign. We ordered our food and before our food came the restaurant started getting busier. Food came and it was freaking great!! Dumplings were spot on, I recommend the pork in chili oil although the traditional pork is good as well. I had the smoked brisket and curry rice bowl... Need a bit more spice but the flavors spot on.Glad we came to Lawrence just for Lucky Seb's.

So happy we stopped here for lunch! Split the salmon rangoon and pork chili dumplings both were excellent. Daughter loved her chicken quesadilla with the chicken on the side (we stole some bites of the chicken and it was also very good . Margaritas were fresh and delicious! Digs were a bit of a dive but it's a college town so... :⁠ ⁠

First time and Lucky Seb's and will not be the last. Food was great. Eclectic atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
