faster and friendly service. I came in on a Saturday at midday and sat right away. our drink order was taken immediately and our food came out very quickly! What Werner Corkery doesn't like about EL Mezcal Mexican Restaurant:
We walked in and we were seated, after we were seated it took them about 8 minutes to bring us salsa and chips and I asked for cheese dip THE CHIPS WERE SO STALE THAT IT HURT TO CHEW and the Cheese dip was barely melted in fact it was barely cooked at all. We then were never brought our drinks and no one came back to our booth for 20 mins to take our order or bring our drinks. We left, I will never ever go back. Horr... View all feedback.
Drinking were good, eating was good! I have a jumbo mango margarita and it was delicious. I ordered the carne asada pommes and they were delicious! many menu options to try, and the server were all friendly and very fast.

Excellent portions of eating and the server was great! my hen was wet, savory and spicy! I'm back.
Still quite new to lawrence and this by far is the best hand down authentic Mexican food in the entire city! the personal is too notch, and the waiting time was minimal! they have my business that I am back!
Delicious decent food portions... I got fajitas steak a little over done but rest of meat was perfect, shrimp chicken and chorizo... Peach margaritas highly recommend but man other flavor choices.. reasonable price friendly service.. other note asked for extra napkins for 2 of us got an extra napkin a piece kinda needed more but otherwise great spot to check out
