Conroy's Pub - Lawrence

I've been passing by this unassuming strip mall grill for years, but after seeing a review on Reddit, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bar food. I ordered the Reuben and it was prepared just the way I like it. My partner had the Burger Steak plate and he finished it all! It was also refreshing to visit an old bar that doesn’t have a musty smell. We'll definitely be back!

Conroy was fantastic! Murphy was my bartender, and he provided excellent service and had a great attitude. He was quick and made the experience enjoyable with his entertaining approach. I really appreciated his service! I’d give it a perfect 10 out of 10 and would definitely come back!

This is undoubtedly the only true pub in the city. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great escape from the hustle and bustle of more popular establishments. For me, it’s the perfect place to take a break. The kitchen at Conroy's serves hearty meals until 10 o'clock. If you're looking for a laid-back spot to enjoy a burger and a beer, I highly recommend giving it a try. And if the place seems lively, just remember it’s probably not late enough to fully enjoy the vibe!

We were looking for a new place in the city to eat on Saturday at lunchtime and ended up in the conroy’s pub. does not look like much from outside, but we were pleasantly surprised with our experience. bartender served us and was very friendly and gave us suggestions on the menu. I tried to reuben the california and was not disappointed! it has the perfect amount of spicy jalapeños and was very tasteful! my man had the fish that was also delicious. will definitely be over again!

Had a group in for an afternoon of lunch and bridge. Service was pleasant and helpful. Food was good including several salads in the group that looked delicious and satisfying. My Philly sandwich was tasty...a little much bread, but the stuff inside was GOOD and filling!! I would definitely go back again.
