I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my mushroom Swiss burger was. I was expecting a small, underwhelming and over priced burger, but instead I was served a delicious, big, juicy, cooked to perfection burger. Needless to say, this 9 months pregnant woman was happy! My 2 year old got the nachos that were half priced during happy hour and it was a huge serving of great steak nachos. Definitely better quality foo... View all feedback.
What Chris P doesn't like about Bird Dog At The Oread:
Very cool venue, a little pricey. Food was okay. The real issue for us was the staff, be it in the restaurant or the bar. The staff is comprised of students from next door, while nice as they could be. It was very obvious that none were going to school to be in the hospitality business. Management set them up to fail without training. View all feedback.
This is not your typical hotel bar. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by for a drink. The atmosphere and the staff were incredibly welcoming, and I would definitely consider booking a room here. In fact, I plan to do so the next time I'm in town for a game.
The prices are way too high, and the online menu isn't current. It shouldn't cost $60 for a burger, fries, chicken strips, and pretzels. I really feel like I'm being taken advantage of.
For a restaurant located inside a hotel, the food was surprisingly excellent. The staff was friendly and incredibly accommodating. Everything was served hot, and I had some of the best fried green beans I've ever tasted! I enjoyed the turkey bacon club two days in a row because it was that good, and my mom and niece were fans of the wings! I would have given it a five-star rating, but they close fairly early—at 9:00 PM for the restaurant and 10:00 PM for the bar. Since we checked in late, we had to hurry to place our order, but the waitress was very kind and helped us through the process to ensure we didn’t miss the kitchen closing. Overall, it's a delicious restaurant situated in a nice hotel.

I made a reservation for brunch months ago when I was coming to visit my daughter for Mother?s Day weekend. I was looking so forward to having brunch with her on a Sunday morning at your hotel. And then the waitress told us that breakfast stops at 9:45 AM it was 10:30 AM and she gives us a lunch menu no one wants to eat lunch at 10:30 AM and why does your website say breakfast is until 11 AM so disappointing!
