Bill's Downtown Grille - Lawrence

CLOSED FODAY a Thursday at 12noon. No explanation. No sign saying closed . The sign says during COVID they 're open 11am 2pm, but they were not...

I ordered a chili dog and Chi-town dog. Both very good. The Chi-town was as good as any Chicago dog I have had. The French fries has just the right amount of salt. The staff was friendly and wearing a mask. I will go back to try some others. My 2nd visit today I tried the Mexican dog and the Humdinger dog. The Mexican do tasted just like what I thought it would, but the Humdinger was such an odd combo of mayo, diced jalapeños and banana peppers, white cheese, and green olives. Really good.

Every once in awhile I get a taste for a cheeseburger and fries. I live bear Grand Junction, but Lawrence isn't that far to go to enjoy the fresh and tasty food at Bills Hot Dog Shack. I found it by chance this summer and have returned a number of times. So far, I haven't been disappointed.
