I drive pass this place every day and had no idea a brewery was here! It's in the cut and because of that it seems very low key and quite. There's not a lot of parking. I parked in a shopping center a few blocks down. They seem to have food trucks so that's cool. Customer service was average and so was the vibe of the place. My favorite brewery here in Hawthorne. Staff is always great and friendly. Love their events too. Yeah parking isn't the greatest, but there's plenty nearby. Common Space and LA Ale works have parking issues too sometimes. Just waiting for them to bring back coffee on tap it was delicious!
Such a cute and hip brewery with awesome beers. Loved the aesthetic and the vibe. Will definitely be back!
We were staying about a half mile down the road at a hotel, and we had some time one afternoon to grab a local beer, and found this place. Glad we did their beers were very enjoyable. Really enjoyed the Cumulus Humulus IPA (I might have that backwards, Humulus Cumulus? . They have a lot of seating throughout, on the first floor as well as up in a lofted area above the bar. Indoor out. The people who work there are very friendly helpful. Had a great conversation with the bartender about beers and what they are doing as a microbrewery in Lawndale. They are trying to offer a good variety of options (traditional IPA's, sours, cider inpired beverage, etc... Really relaxed feel to it. Stop in enjoy one of their good beers.
A great new-ish brewery in the area. James is super friendly and sociable, the beers on tap are solid and well varied, prices are reasonable, and there is both indoor and outdoor space. Food trucks/tents seem to appear regularly, and James generously opens some of the stuff that's not on tap to sample, too. In particular, we really enjoyed Uno Mas Mexican Lager, the various hazy IPAs, and even the Rosecrans IPA (not too bitter for a well-balanced West Coast IPA). It's a great place with great people and great beer that we will be visiting more often now that we have discovered it.
