The restaurant had a bit of a spooky reputation. However, there was always a fantastic selection of homemade cakes, as well as high-quality tea and hot water. We enjoyed well-stuffed sandwiches accompanied by a salad garnish, a small cup of coleslaw, and some crackers. The Bakewell tart and lemon drizzle cake were both delicious. A fantastic little gem, it feels like you're in a different world. All the food is fresh and homemade, delicious, and worth every penny! (10/10 for the strawberry!) The sandwiches are substantial enough to be a meal on their own!
Oven fresh tasty scenarios, homemade jams and cakes, and a very welcoming and friendly owner, all in a charming scraped old house. really can not recommend this wonderful tea room enough. Thank you!
