The place was extremely clean and they take extreme measures for coronavirus safety. I think this may be my new favorite spot as I will definitely be back. The prices are also very reasonable.

I have been coming here for years and I have never had a meal that I didn't enjoy. Their specialty is fish and chips, which are especially tasty. I recommend coming early as it tends to get busy in the evening. Trust me, you won't regret trying this place out - I highly recommend it!

Cri... read more Friends in Laval took us for lunch to Le Chalutier last week. It is simply amazing aside from the timeless Quebecois dishes, the standout is the fish chips. Crisp, large sized filet of haddock beautifully deep-fried. It also comes with a pretty impressive...helping of homemade coleslaw. The desserts were hard to choose from and all home made. We went for the coconut cream pie. I wish we could have gone twice! The service is outstanding and the restaurant decor itself is welcoming, yet classy. Definitely worth using a map to get there.
