Le Déjeuner Cosmopolitain - Laval

Please delete if not allowed, I was at Cosmopolitan today with my family. My order tasted weird so I asked to send it back politely (and discretely) and the manager started a scene so I said forget it and kept my plate but didn 't eat anything. The waitress was rude to me the whole time afterwards. On my way out (I 'm holding my baby who was super happy) the manager (a man) cornered me and got into my personal space to let me know my family was no longer welcome to eat there. Never in my life has this happened to me before. My father was still at the table waiting to pay. My dad is Egyptian, the manager tells him I knew You people were going to be a problem the moment I saw you come in . I am utterly disgusted by Cosmopolitan Laval

The hostess tried to put me and my spouse in a place where no client wanted this table. Totally sat with another group. After signifying that we will wait for a better table, she put us back in line to wait but forgetting to put our name back on her list. As soon as a decent table was released, the hostess gave it to the couple behind us. As soon as I saw this, I meant the hostess’s mistake. She used me as an argument that she said my name but that the couple behind me showed up. Which is not true, because I heard the couple’s name right behind me and I’m not confused. Why the couple behind me would have moved on my last name? Anyway, the hostess after two minutes had simply forgotten our case, either for putting us back in the queue, she couldn’t remember our face; etc. No problem, the mistake is possible I can understand but lying to get away with it's cheap. One more time I visiting this place food is very good and service was very good and polite servers. Omelette was good and plenty food. Always a nice place Thanks

Well, let me start with this: It's on my fav place to eat, even though I still haven't tried their breakfast/brunch YET! I'm not a big meat fan, so always wasn't so tempted with their special breakfast. Will do soon though, it's about time. So that means I order from the Lunch/Dinner menu; which contains many options for all kind of food. So far, I have no complains.. all good. Tried different plates and all of them were good! Service is good, prices are reasonable.

We came as a large group. The eggs Benedict all came with stale burnt English muffins. All others that had toast were also stale and burnt. I thought eggs were eggs and were pretty difficult to mess up but I didn't know plain old fried eggs could taste so bad. Also men, don't use washroom. The urinals don't flush and the smell is nauseating. Do yourself a favor if you want fried eggs and go to A&W. Just disgusting.
