couple with a two-year-old child, impeccable service, good advice, very tasty Syrian food, varied, delicious. the size of the room makes it a little cold and noisy. some separation walls could bring more atmosphere and calm. very good restaurant in laval! View all feedback.
What Torey Lesch doesn't like about Beroya:
Went there on a Saturday night . Claimed to be very busy when there was only 3 tables . The owner was very cocky and rude and made us feel like we were not welcome . Wouldn't recommend . Much better authentic middle eastern food in the shopping center View all feedback.
We decided, 8 people, to dinner at the beroya restaurant. this new restaurant was inaugurated in the city of laval, qc in 2016. Its atmosphere is exceptional. the reception of all staff is very warm. The restaurant offers a menu reflecting a good variety of Syrian dishes.Successful grills, salads etc.The wine menu, including Iraq is also available. hot pita bread prepared and cooked on site. all dishes are presented. Food chill. excellent taste. prices are reasonable. The wifi is free of charge. this restaurant is also available for people in wheelchairs. Outdoor parking is free.Payments by credit cards accepted.Recommended bookings. My recommendations for people who are not accustomed to metsyrians, start with a mixed dish for a simple degustation, you will then decide the choice of the main dish as well as the "mezés". Take a tour at the beroya restaurant is recommended.Date of our dinner, Saturday, April 29, 2017
The ambiance looks nice, but a few tables away was a table of 8 people who were speaking so loud in Arabic that we couldn't enjoy ourselves. Our waitress, a young lady, was very shy and soft spoken that we couldn't hear her. The fatoush salad was good, especially with the garnish cheese. There was too much dressing that drenched the salad. The grilled chicken was too dry, but tasty. I would have liked some vegetables , not just a grilled onion and a tomato. The mixed grilled meats for two should have 2 grilled tomatoes, and more vegetables, how can 2 people share just one tomato? See photo. The pita bread was given to us by request. I found the restaurant to be average, but not worth returning to as their competitor Syrian restaurant. The knafa dessert was good, but way too sugary than others I have tried.
A new restaurant with a Syrian theme has recently opened in Laval. After hearing some positive reviews, a group of us decided to check it out and see what all the buzz was about.
A great experience or we know some dishes, but several others that are worth discovering. We took the tasting menu for two. Gargantuesque portions that make us taste several dishes so far unknown. unable to finish everything, a "doggie bag" is a must. a courteous and adventurous service. to return for new discoveries.
