Once again, another great agra party. a long-awaited meal with good friends. the place was crowded all night. we were among the first and almost the last to leave. excellent service without haste as usual. not the usual taste of British Indian cuisine, but a welcome change.
Hidden on the edge of the laval, this Indian restaurant offers spicy cuisine at the dessert of the france. we visited several times and come back always happy.
Visited with friends like a treat. I loved curry when I lived in the UK, so I was looking forward to it. good choice of inputs and dishes and we all chose something different. The tandoori chicken entrance was beautiful, cooked in tandoor, it was wet and tasty, I highly recommend it.
We arrived to place an order for some takeaway food. we were greeted politely and our order placed and were asked to return in half an hour to collect the order. we have collected the order without problems. the whole food was excellent in taste....I had the lamb madras and my partner ordered huhn jalfrezi, which did not on the menu, but the cook made it. the portions are not as large as in the united kingdom, but everything was extremely tasty. we would have wanted more heat and asked the courts to rise. that will be a regular one.
We drove from mont st michel towards loire valley with inner roads due to a GPS flasher! when we came a city called laval around the lunchtime, we started looking for a decent restaurant with vegetarian options! there appeared agra. on the map and to be sure, I checked whether it is an Indian restaurant! and young, we were thrilled to find an Indian restaurant in the middle of a small French town to far from paris! we made a leap of faith and we were not disappointed. we ordered mother paneer, punjabi daal, chapati everything tasted as good as it should! although the flavor levels are adapted to local flavors, the food had rich taste and fresh ingredients! topped it up with homemade gulab jamun and kulfi! heavenly! if they are in or through the Loire Valley, this ort must visit. another I would like to point out that the ambiente is very welcoming with beautiful soothing Indian classic melodies playing in the background! a break from loud, garish decor, which exotic screams!
