I have been coming to Wengen for many years and a meal there is always cherished. Our whole meal was exquisite, always delicious to enjoy venison in season. I must mention they are also known for their wonderful bread selection, as a coeliac I would typically only smell it, but at the Schonegg their gluten-free selection paired with their butter should not be skipped!
Located in the Hotel Scönegg in Wengen, Restaurant 1903 was a great choice for dinner after exploring the Jungfraujoch. Swiss international menu, excellent wine list, and attentive efficient service.
Nice place and excellent treatment. Entrecôte is remarkable and the chicken is acceptable. Of course, Swiss prices
Tap water 5 CHF/person, 10 CHF for two person lunch. Too much for what they serve.
Nice restaurant. Unfortunately, almost no one from the service speaks German. Tartar unfortunately a bit oversalted, veal entrecote was good, but sauce was boring. Croquettes as a side dish were ok, but there were some vegetables missing. Main course overall too boring for this price. The cheese dessert was very good.
