Hotel Hornerpub - Lauterbrunnen

I would recommend stopping at the Horner for refreshment. A friendly pub, located towards the far end of the village. Decent range of beers and drinks.

Ate at hotel Horner pub and the food was lovely, staff very nice and helpful, and the views from sitting outside were amazing, we sat and watched as they brought the cows down from the mountains

We came here for our only meal in Lauterbrunnen and left disappointed. All of the outside tables were taken by individuals who weren’t eating or drinking, so we sat inside. The flies pestered us the entire time and no windows were open so it was...super stuffy. We ordered the beef goulash soup with bread, the chicken sandwich with garlic sauce, the burger and an order of raclette. The goulash was inedible rough pieces of beef ? and stale bread. My chicken sandwich was a store bought frozen patty with sauce, and the burger was a frozen burger. The raclette was okay except we had to a dead fly out of it.

We decided to stop here for lunch on a trip to Lauterbrunnen and selected it based on the reviews. Unfortunately it was not a pleasant meal, we were wondering whether there was even a chef in the kitchen, the food was slapped together, the nachos...were dry, and took ages to arrive. A total lowlight of the day.

We stopped in for a beer while exploring Lauterbrunnen. This is a very cozy, wood filled pub. The bartender was very friendly and made a good beer recommendation.
