Great service and friendly staff! I’ll definitely stop by again on my next visit.
Large quantities of very good breakfast foods. Don’t eat the night before. The spicy bacon and pancakes were above average and grits well done. Everyone enjoyed their food. Great value for the money. Seats were a bit thin for old backs and bottoms though. Service was above average and the waitress was perfect in taking complicated orders with multiple choices. Would definitely return! Keep in mind that it’s a truck stop diner not haute cuisine.
If you’re looking for a clean restaurant, just keep on driving. The food was decent, waffle was rubbery but tasted good. Eggs were liquid, but bacon was crispy. Coffee is good and cream was cold. The waitress was the only one on duty. We know that because she repeatedly told everyone in the restaurant. In fact, we know who was a no show and who called out, and had to listen to that story on a loop.But then something happened that made us feel differently about our experience.One of the cooks jumped in and began to help her by delivering the food to the tables and was very polite to the customers. He had not been asked, he just saw a need and put his coworker and the customer first. It showed a lot of character and we tipped him separately from our server. We didn’t catch his name, but he was a bearded gentleman.This is the kind of employee that should make management proud, and we wanted to bring it to their attention. The website wouldn’t allow me to create a comment, so I’m posting it publicly.
Decent food from decent people. Stopped here for a 10hr reset and definitely might come back for breakfast before I leave out.
The service was poor; I waited over 15 minutes before anyone assisted me. They tended to customers who arrived after me before addressing those who had been waiting longer.
