I almost didn't go here because of the guy who left a negative review but he was wrong. My piece of chicken was super flavorful, had a great spicy kick to it, and was tender and juicy. Its probably the best chicken sandwhich I've had. The seasoning had a little bit of an old bay kick without being super overpowering as well. I also got the fried cheese curds which were extra because they were a premium side but they... View all feedback.
What Robert Cheng doesn't like about T.k.k. Fried Chicken:
Finally get a chance to try the TKK chicken in the States. Took a while to find the place because it is share the shop with two other brands. Ordered chicken thigh, drum sticks and wings...the only thing I can say is disappointed. Nothing close to the original Taiwanese favor and quality. Thigh and drum stick were dry inside out and taste strange. The wings were freshly fried and are much better, still juicy inside.... View all feedback.
I was hoping for a great experience when it came to Korean fried chicken and wanted to give it a try since this was closer to home. I was disappointed in what I received. I ordered the spicy combo and wasn 't spicy at all. For me, it was a Popeyes clone in how the chicken 's final product is. The spices they used was noticeably different, but not spicy at all. Not even mild I 'd say. Also, there was a 20 minute wait for the meal. I don 't know if this is a made-to-order spot, but if so, I won 't hold it against them because that ensures fresh hot food. But there was biscuits and chicken under hot lamps. So I wonder why this order took as long as it did. Also I don 't know if the people working the front was aware they sold combos on their menu. It took two people and several minutes to place that order when there are signs everywhere showing their own menu. I even asked them Do they not sell their fries chicken yet? This is new, so maybe they didn 't have that part of the operation setup, but it must have been some miscommunication. They get the 2nd star for their Winter Mango Tea. Amazing. But I didn 't come for the tea. Kung Fu Tea does a great job, but I wanted Korean Fried Chicken and I was let down. I would take the ride to Columbia for Bonchon because I know they are quality. Tasting TKK, I 'll still make that choice. They had a chance to cater to Laurel for good fried chicken and they didn 't rise to the occasion. If you want it local, go to Popeyes down the street. The chicken is the same and you don 't have to wait as long.

I will definitely be back for more chicken sandwiches. Probably during the kung fu happy hour though.
Today was my first time eating at this restaurant and their food is delicious ????. I ordered an original crispy chicken delux meal with a Hershey s'mores skate. The way they fry their food, not greasy, fried hard, or over seasoned. If I had to describe their food I would say it's finger licking good. I would refer my friends and family here. In my opinion they're prices no different then Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. The only thing I don't like about they're drinks is that they don't use plastic lids.

Saw both good and bad reviews for this shop, that means their food quality is not stable. And unfortunately, mine is a one.
Horrible customer service. I attempted to buy a 12 piece mixed (half spicy and half mild) and I was told no I could not mix, but after they realized there were not enough spicy pieces, I was offered half and half. So it?s not about the customer wants, but what is convenient for the staff. There was a 12 min wait for old and greasy fried chicken that was under a heat lamp and then reheated to an unbearable temp. Chicken was so greasy with a distasteful after taste and chicken bones were so brittle they crumbled at the touch. A hard no! Popeyes is less than a mile away. Don?t waste your money.
