Okay so hear me out. Dont order the wings. Their chicken is AWESOME, but the wings are a bit small. Their honey bbq sauce is the best tasting thing on their menu. Get fried shrimp and their fried chicken, dip in that sauce, profit. Was a little disappointed with the mac n cheese. It wasnt bad, but it wasnt great.

The food is on point! I thought some of the food was just as good as what I cooked at home. potatoe salad, sweet potatoes, greens, Whiting Croaker fried and cabbage. Real meal Soul food!?????

Deception with the name- I thought this was a black owned business. They don?t even like us- but they are cooking ?soul food? and then we buy it. If I hadn?t placed the order over the phone, they would not have gotten my money. The place was dirty, the floor was sticky and the woman behind the counter was hot, sweaty and appeared to be indifferent? This is ridiculous?. Only in black communities.

First time visit...I had the lake trout, collards, macncheese, potatoes salad and yams. I wanted to try multiple sides, so I know what to get the next time. All were really good, however the macncheese was lacking a little, but not bad. Everything else was delicious and price was great! Fish could've used a little more seasoning, but I was very satisfied. I will be back!
