Shane's Sandwich Shop - Laurel

I have visited this restaurant three times and each visit was better than the last. The elderly gentleman who runs the place may not speak English well, but he sure knows how to make a delicious sandwich. He is incredibly friendly and always gives excellent suggestions that you won't want to miss out on. The sweets are always fresh and crispy, while the bread is soft and fresh. The meat is perfectly prepared with care, and pairs well with the bread. The drink options are stored in a small refrigerator near the register, although I have never tried them, I imagine they are great. Be sure to bring cash and be ready to tip, as he truly deserves it and you'll feel guilty not doing so after trying his amazing subs.

Keep in mind that this place only accepts cash, so be sure to have some on hand. I tried the chicken cheese steak and it was both delicious and generously portioned, with a fresh taste. While some may consider it slightly pricey, it's important to remember that they are competing with other restaurants. Overall, I had a positive experience and will definitely be returning to try something new.
