I give this place 4 stars for the food. The chicken was very tasty. The flavor and crispiness was on point and the price is reasonable! The young man that took my order was friendly and professional. This was my first time visiting so initially I was a little hesitate because the looks of the carryout could be improved but the food is delicious. View all feedback.
What Ronnie R doesn't like about J&p Pizza Italian:
Woman behind bar told me I could sit anywhere. Tried asking her a question, she cut me off. Sat down, no one came so decided to take out. The 12 ' ' pizza was very nice looking but def not NY style. View all feedback.
We are passionate about great pizza, and after trying numerous places, this one is our absolute favorite! The interior is spacious, which works perfectly for our large group gatherings. The crust is freshly made, and the cheese is top-notch! We find ourselves craving this pizza and have brought many friends along to enjoy it with us. We've also celebrated a variety of family events here. The staff is fantastic, and we always leave feeling satisfied! We usually order extra because we love having leftovers the next day. Their coffee and desserts are excellent as well! There's a cozy bar area, and plenty of TVs to catch the games. Plus, they host fundraising events for local schools. This pizza truly stands out above all others in the area!
A piece of wire found in the eggplant. Terrible customer service! Waitress was rude. Our tip was included in our bill without notice on a party of 5.
I 've been here twice, leaving each time more disappointed than the prior visit. I won 't be make that mistake again. I came w the family the first time for pizza. Despite having New York in the name, it is nothing close to it. Their pizza does have dough, cheese and sauce, though. The space is seemingly nice. Large eating area but the feel of the restaurant itself feels a little dated, with lighting always being super dim. I went back for lunch this time with a co-worker because I had seen they 'd changed their name from NY J& to just NY. I assumed this meant it was under new management, and they had potentially turned around. I can 't say if they did or not, but nothing seemed to have improved at the place. I ordered a panini. Normally I expect paninis to be crisp, super cheesy and 'solid ', with the cheese holding everything in place. The panini I ordered was floppy and soggy, falling apart, the vegetables inside totally raw with only one small cut of cheese, that wasn 't even melted. As hungry as I was, I sent the whole thing back. I do have to say the service was quick, for having 1 waitress helping all tables a lunch, and the fries that came w the sandwich were good. So fine, let 's give them another star... I really want to support a local business, but they 've got to do better is the bottom line, sorry. :

My Trash can loved it I didn't.... My girlfriend and I decided to eat here. Big mistake. I ordered the Chicken Parm the tomato sauce tasted like spaghettios. We also ordered a pasta salad and we were presented with noodles, a few cherry tomato's and oil.... yes oil.... I suppose if you were fed through a feeding tube this would constitute a 3 star rating but overall, lackluster, insipid, and bland. It needs work.... On a positive note, I've ate the pizza here before. It's actually pretty good. I just don't know where the disconnect is between the pizza and other dishes on the menu.
