Chi'bal - Laurel

Laurel's hidden gem! My husband and I decided to escape our home for a relaxing evening and dinner at Chi'bal. We were pleasantly surprised by the decor and the welcoming vibe. The host seated us right away! We were immediately greeted by our waitress, Yisela; she is very kind and extremely attentive to our needs...especially since this was our first time there. We kicked off the evening with chicken wings and made to order chips and guacamole. Let's just say...the food has a different kind of taste! All the food is fresh and made to order. This place will not disappoint! My husband and I ordered a couple of drinks such as the passion fruit mojito and the traditional mojito. Not too brag but it was incredible! We were both introduced to the manager, Jorge. Jorge does take pride in grooming his staff to be great service professionals. We will be returning sooner than expected. Many compliments to Yisela, Jorge and the chef! Yisela will always be my server! She has such an amazing bubbly personality and that makes the experience 10 times better. We will be returning and determined to try every dish. You must try it for yourself!!

I've always driving by and hardly see any cars there. I assumed it was a crappy place to eat! I was wrong!!!!! Great food and great service. Their house margaritas... perfect! The carne asada and chicken fajitas to die for! You must come to this place. The ambience is actually elegant and cozy. I wish it was in a different location though. I will go back again.

I've started a plant based diet recently. They have veggie fajitas that are amazing! The drinks were awesome if you are a tequila drinker. My friends had food that they raved about. I will definitely be returning! Oh and the Yuca was to die for

LOVEEEEEEEEE Chi’Bal! It is a def a DC caliber restaurant in the ‘burbs! I’ve lived in Laurel since ‘07 and I’ve tried all the restaurant in and around Laurel this is truly by far one of the best around. Outstanding service and the food/drinks are amazing. The wings, the shrimp skewers app, the quesadilla, the pollo fettuccine, the passionfruit margarita are all insanely good Our sever Allison was superb Oh and not to mention is decor is so cute. Great atmosphere, good quality food/drinks and great service. Love this place!!!! Please stay here forever Chi’Bal, Laurel needs a restaurant like this!!!

Ok so the decor 5 stars the ambiance 5 stars the service 5 stars the food was on point 5 stars the appetizer was 3.5 the guac was great chips not so much entree was the stuffed salmon.. OMG great dessert was prepared as a gift and it was on point DRINKS lawd.. they were tight... classic Mojito done RIGHT
