The ribs are fall-off-the bone tender. The catfish plate includes EIGHT filets, so it is a ton of catfish and the fish is light and fluffy. The potato salad is delicious and bacon-ey. Add the fried shrimp which was really good and a half a slab of ribs with baked beans and potato salad you can call ahead to get your order
Slow service and the fish tasted like old burned oil was used to cook

We took a detour on our road trip home to Texas after seeing Carl’s Catfish on Facebook. The pictures do not lie! The catfish tasted like it was freshly caught, shrimp was perfectly crisp, the fried crab was delicious, and some of the best hush puppies we have ever tasted! Do yourself a favor and stop at Carl’s! Anna knows what she’s doing!!!
