What Ice Man doesn't like about Cabrito Mexican Grill:
Awful experience. The waitress did not hear our dinner order and did not confirm what we ordered so I had to reorder the second dish when only one plate was served for the two of us. Then, after repeating cecina ranchera twice I was served el ranchero. The produce and guacamole were not as fresh as they should be. The beans were not cooked enough, the rice was cooked too long. I just stopped by and got the carne asada tacos. So good! I also got chips and guac. Yum! I'll be back! Sorry no pics because I literally destroyed the food. Lol! So good.
Had the Birria Tacos. They were crunchy and delicious! They were stuffed with meat and cheese. The only thing is that they were made with the mini corn tortillas vs the regular size ones. The consume was very flavorful.Highly recommend!!Dietary restrictions: Authentic tacos are always Gluten-free!!Parking: It's part of the Shell Station.
Food was ok, but the service is quite slow. Once we arrived we had to wait 45 minutes for the food, they never made one of the orders and the one that arrived was messed up. Of course the server blamed us for not ordering properly instead of trying to find a solution. In addition, there was food crumbs all over the place, tables were not clean and flies everywhere inside.
Tacos are the **** Lengua ...tons of items on the menu.. Menudo needs TLC portions are small and they also lack hot habanero salsa
I don’t know HOW this place only has a 4.1. I’m from Oakland, California and these are the best tacos I’ve had since I’ve moved. And it’s not even close.
