Description

Greg’s at Twin Lakes is a cozy, rustic 24/7 bakery-cafe where wooden interiors and pastry displays set a warm, to-go‑friendly tone. Standout items include carrot cheesecake, ensaymada, croissants, fresh breads and strong coffee, with a popular buy-one-get-one promo and reasonable prices. Staff are welcoming, and many patrons return for desserts and late-night convenience. Expect modest portions and limited seating; service can be slow and a few guests have reported inconsistent quality on some breads and cakes.

After enjoying breakfast at Charito's and Antonio's, we traveled a few kilometers to Twin Lakes Tagaytay to satisfy our sweet tooth. We decided to stop by Greg's Fruitcakery Co. Ltd. for some coffee and dessert. This bakeshop, open 24 hours, offers a wide range of breads, pastries, cakes, and, as the name implies, fruitcakes. The fruitcake is the standout offering at Greg's, so we couldn’t resist trying it. While a full box costs a hefty Php700.00, we chose a smaller block for Php350.00, which is still quite expensive!

If you're in search of something unique and different, this bakery is definitely worth a visit. Just be aware that it can be somewhat pricey.

During my visit to Twin Lakes, I immediately went to Greg’s after hearing all the rave reviews. I ordered a coffee and a slice of cake, and I was blown away by the very first bite. Their carrot cake is divine—definitely one of the best cakes I've ever had. The other menu items are equally delicious and consistently fresh. Whenever I'm in the area, I always make it a point to stop by. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff is very friendly as well!

One of the best on their store is the ensaymada, it is full of cheese on top. The Bread rolls, fluffy on the outside, siksik on the inside. The croissant, a must try since there's a surprise on the inside. The Carrot Cheese Cake is another must try, light tasting on the frosting and the cream cheese filling compliments that carrot sheet cake.
