Wursthaus at olivers - Launceston

I recently relocated to this area from Melbourne and I must say, I am absolutely impressed by this amazing deli! I ordered a variety of meats and they kindly offered to keep them chilled while I had my lunch. Speaking of lunch, it was fantastic. I requested some accompaniments and a glass of wine, and was delighted when I was served a platter of exquisite Tasmanian cheeses and small goods, paired with a glass of Wursthaus Pinot. The staff were very knowledgeable about their wine and cheese selection, providing excellent recommendations. I am thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning soon.

I visited this restaurant for lunch last week and ordered the vegetarian lasagna with a side of beetroot salad. It was one of the most delicious meals I have had in a long time in Launceston City. The portion size was perfect and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was quick. The restaurant was bustling with people coming in for lunch and others browsing. I will definitely be returning!

We went to Wursthaus at olivers in anticipation of the same excellent experience we had at the Wursthaus in Hobart, what a contrast! ordered two simple items with drinks to eat at a table outside, a pie and a pastie, both were heated in a microwave and very poor as a result.

It's very off-putting to be served by someone in a deli who licks her finger in order to more easily open a paper bag into which she puts, with the same ungloved hand, a loaf of bread. Has she not completed a Food Handling course? I have observed this action a few times at Wursthaus

We recently had overseas visitors stay with us, and where else to go but here to gather some lovely and delicious food to make a truly unique Tasmanian platter.
