Reasonably tasty and fast food court Indian. Beef vindaloo tasty but very pricey given the serve (more sauce than meat). Saffron rice well cooked, and Samosa's and Naan pretty good too. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Maharajas Curry House:
My partner and I dined here for dinner and we left bitterly disappointed. The chicken tikka masala was basically watery chicken soup and the chicken biryani looked like vomit on a plate. No words can describe my disgust. View all feedback.
Purchased takeaway from here tonight and we are so pleased we gave it a go! We had samosas which were absolutely the most delicious samosas I have ever had. We also ordered rogan josh and chicken korma, the rogan josh was delicious and tender, the korma was ok but didn't compare to the rogan josh, the rice was perfect and fluffy and the garlic naans were huge and amazing! Great value for money and such friendly service will definitely return
Had the beef vindaloo, a dish I order regularly and try to make at home. Awesome! Beef was tender, plenty of gravy and the garlic naan was great, somewhat greasy but so bad it's good if you know what i mean. I'm a seasoned chilli head, and the vindaloo was a genuine 6/10 heat-wise, more than I perhaps bargained for at that time. It would melt the face off a novice spice fan. The rice was cooked well and plentiful, the salad was a bit sad and unnecessary. It's just a decoration. I returned the next day and tried the chicken korna. It was pretty good, but not as special as that vindaloo. Definitely compares with other indian restaurants and I've been too, pretty decent value for money if you are hungry. I would return next time I am in town for the awesome flavour, service and value.
Went for the first time but disappointed with food. Asked for Veg Korma curry but they served mixed vegetables curry. They served Plain naan instead of garlic naan. Customer service was not good too. Didn’t like anything at all.
