Coffee to go is great from here, the service is fast and prices are reasonable. A table to dine in can be difficult sometimes with staff working behind the counter and being unable to clear the tables for new patrons. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gloria Jean's:
We ordered an iced coffee and an iced orange chai . Iced coffee tasted burnt , the coffee and the chai had a bitter nasty taste that left an oily coating in our mouths. Iced coffee was not creamy and tasty, consisted of bitter unsweetened espresso, not enough milk and too much ice. More to making an iced coffee than cold coffee with ice in it. Orange chai was bitter, watery and really quite confronting to attempt to... View all feedback.
It is difficult to understand why Gloria Jeans claims to have great coffee, as everything else about it is the same as Banjos and definitely not better.
Decided on this for my breakfast stop photo in window of egg and bacon roll looked inviting that’s where the good ended. Had an egg and bacon sandwich was sort of an omelette cut up bacon shortcut little flavour no colour bread dry as dry....Coffee left an unusual taste in my mouth that continued for some time.
Good service and great coffee and cake, friendly staff, reasonably priced. It's like most Gloria Jeans same great reliable cup of coffee.
Called in to have a coffee while waiting to go to tea. I ordered a skim milk lattè and a cheese and ham toastie. The toastie was fine. The coffee however was quite burnt. The place itself needs a good clean. The walls are filthy...and the carpet needs a good clean or replacing. The display cabinets were dirty and needed a scrub on the inside and out. There is a massive crack in the glass on one side and to their own admission had been there for a while. We asked what time they closed before we sat down and was told however doors were shut at Please give this place a miss. You can do better elsewhere.
Friendly Café in the City Centre of Launceston. Big mirrors at the wall give contrast to the silent atmosphere. Good capucchino and apple muffig. Short hour to stay there.
