Banoffee pie and a warm cookie sundae was a great end to the night.The warm cookie sundae was a winner. The Banoffee was a bit of a miss, too sweet, the flavours were not balanced...Sorry. Recently on a Sunday i went into Charlies to grab 2 takeaway coffees. I noticed when i walked in a table of 2 having coffees plus a table of 6ish sitting down for dessert..so it was not overly busy. Upon approaching the counter the waitress turned around from the coffee and said she would be with me after she had finished making the drink .. which is totally understandable.
