While not at the top end of restaurant pricing in Launceston, Cataract on Paterson is reasonably expensive. However, the food is beautifully prepared and presented and the staff are very well trained and attentive. We were happy to pay a premium price for a delicious meal in a quality setting. the fysh and chips are made with banana blossom. it was very nice. the vegan desserts were so delicious. the panookie is sensational and I've never had that. The “fish” was quite good, it is from banana peel and was surprisingly delicious. I really wanted to get the vegan panookie, but since it takes 20 minutes to cook and I was alone wanted to eat, didn't want to sit table. the personal was very friendly and attentive
