Was Louise Loiseau at Buntalk a mag?
Typical Launceston try-so-hard-yet-fail-so-badly. Everything straight from the freezer, fried rice with carrot, peas and corn and chicken without seasoning. Overpriced, $22.50 for one duck breast. Having had both their specialties, I wouldn't say there isn't anything to go back for. View all feedback.

What Adrienne Halvorson dislikes about Buntalk:
The waitress was very accomodating and friendly. Our dishes were nice but quite small and expensive. We enjoyed our lunch and have Asian OFTEN but found this nice but not with any wow factor to match the prices. View all feedback.

Fantastic little dumpling joint. Happened upon it by chance. Nothing fancy to look at, but superbly fresh, beautifully seasoned handmade dumplings!! Best we've had in Tassie.

Good meal. Enjoyed panfried dumplings, BBQ roast pork, noodle soup and bok choy. All quite tasty. Very busy staff as it seems to be a two-person show. Unfortunately had run out of shanghai dumpling and duck so get in quick!!

Discovered this gem while staying in Launceston. The Buns are excellent and the Chatcoal BBQ Duck was delicious. Friends that I went with are locals and they said they will definitely go back. Highly recommend you try it.

Decent Chinese food and very reasonable prices. shanghai pork buns which flavorful though at $10 for 5 it was kinda pricey.
