Von Herzen - Lauenburg/Elbe

With magnificent spring weather, we had made our way to Lauenburg, where we wanted to take a closer look at the old town. Some time ago, we had taken a short break on the way to the south, and the impressions of this short visit prompted us to a new, more intense visit this time. The sun shone from a cloudless blue sky, the thermometer climbed clearly over the 20 °C threatened by the weather frogs. We had run the Elbstraße almost in full length, now it had to be a break. We were standing in front of House No. 46, where a sign “Frühstück Cafe – Gifts – Guest House” offered. At the entrance we came through a hallway to the gift boutique, from there over several nicely decorated rooms finally to the terrace. A table on the armor, which we immediately occupied, was also released. A fantastic place right on the Elbe, so to speak above the Elbe. Already in the entrance we had seen a showcase with cakes and cakes, the pieces were not just cut small. So we decided to share a piece. The offer of coffee specialties, salads and snacks was on the table as a welded sheet, so we were able to inform ourselves in advance. Then a little later, we ordered Latte Macchiato, once Cappuccino and a piece of Marzipan Poppy cake with two forks. The service thanked and disappeared towards the kitchen. A little later, another very young service – obviously a helper or intern – came and first brought us the coffee specialities, then in the second run also the cake. Coffee comes here as usual from an appropriately equipped coffee machine, so there are hardly any differences. Both Cappuccino and Latte Macchiato were to our satisfaction. The cake, on the other hand, was homemade, and that was also clear to taste. At least she tasted us excellent. While we enjoyed cake and coffee, the terrace filled with a view, and finally a group of six people came for which chairs had to be requirted from the other tables. When we were finished with coffee and cake, we quickly paid and have escaped from the storm, not without going out to pick up the toilets that were very modern and very clean.

Lovely breakfast overlooking the Elbe. Fast and friendly service and very relaxed. Reasonable price too.

This little place is so quaint it's amazing. The front part is a shop with loads of nice nick nacks and then in the back you can have coffee, cake, breakfast or lunch. We had coffee and cake but people around us had breakfast which is served on a 3 tier etagiere.All cakes are freshly baked and you struggle picking one as they all look amazing.You can look out over the Elbe and there is also a possibility to sit outside.

Very beautiful caffeine. whether to breakfast or for caffeine and cake very nice. the places at the window guarantee a very beautiful view of the elbe. the breakfast I didn't try, but looked very good. the coffee and the cake were very good. we sat outside on the terrace and could watch the elbe and observe some animals in a cup of coffee and a piece of cheesecake. to recommend. By the way, the location of the caffeine is wonderfully located in the old town and you can experience a super historical walk there.

The caffeine of hearts we can only buy without if and but recommend! with a look at the elbe and integrated charging shop where it is beautiful, high quality items, with beautiful spruten and great design, many perfect as a gift for love people in life. the breakfast was rich and tasty, there is a vegetarian variant next to hearty with fish and meat. cheap. we were welcomed and served very nicely. we are coming back!
