L&j Shack - Lauderhill
L&j Shack
Description
BFF, formerly known as L&J, presents an intriguing blend of culinary delights and customer service challenges. While many patrons rave about their delicious offerings—particularly the French toast and chicken tenders—disappointment arises from frequent order inaccuracies and slow service. Complaints about missing items and lengthy waits mar the experience for some. Despite these hurdles, the restaurant's friendly atmosphere and appealing prices make it a tempting choice. Overall, BFF stands out as a hidden gem deserving of another chance, but improvements in service and order accuracy are essential for a more satisfying dining experience.

I enjoyed my meal at the restaurant. Unfortunately, I couldn't take a photo because I started eating right away. My order included scrambled eggs, grits, and bacon, which was especially delicious. Despite the wait for my large to-go order, I appreciated the owner's attention to ensuring everything was correct before we left. I like that this restaurant is a family-owned business, called BF (which stands for blended family) instead of L&J. I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area.
The food is delicious! Everything was freshly made to order and the wait was short. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
If I could leave a zero I would the person at the front didn't have any training in what she was doing she didn't know how to take my order took me over 10 min to just have her take my order. Then it was extremely long wait for my food to get this horrible food the wings were the smallest wing I've ever ate in my life this is unacceptable
If the food is good and the service sucks you get 2 stars from me. Unfortunately for this place that was the situation. I ordered thru Uber eats and when my order arrived it was missing grits, coffee, and my sandwich was on white instead of wheat bread. It was good but it was lacking. I was looking forward to the coffee and grits, and didn’t get it. Bad service right from the first order. Might give them another shot, but probably not.
