Carina's - Lauderdale-by-the-Sea

Very unsanitary place to eat at. The tables may look clean but the food and the dishes aren't. Here is how my experience went. Dined in with an accompanying guest and we ordered a salad and a personal pie. Found a bug in my overpriced salad. At that point I was iffy about the pie that was already being made but my friend and I were starving and had been there for 20 mins already. As the owner/manager (not a waiter, thats how slow this place is) sets our plates for the pie which is still being made, I find a quarter size food stain on my plate-it was not a properly washed dish. That was strike 2 and a sign for me to leave. The place may look like a mirage with its cozy intimate atmosphere, but I would suggest not eating here and risk getting sick.

Terrible pizza.. We were told 45 min delivery try 2 hrs

The staff and Owner is very unprofessional and has very little social skills. One simple question turned into an argument that included the whole staff including the unskilled owner and his mother. I would never return, and the pizza wasn 't worth the wait of 12:38 that the owner bragged about

Really enjoyed my meal tonight, the garlic rolls we fresh made and the pizza crust was too. I would recommend it to anyone. The service was great, and food fresh and tasty .

Amazing pizza with the friendliest staff. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired and the menu layout is kind of confusing, but its the best pizza i've had in a long time.
