The sides are way too small. You cannot pretend 5 euro for half potatoe/ 150g of cicoria. Expect to spend at least 40 euro/person. The staff is gentle but the place it's very noisy. I would not come back although the meet is tasty. I don't think overall it's worthwhile. Hope it helps
We had very high expectations from this restaurant but were sadly disappointed. We had two starters: hand cut ham (which was excellent) and a tartare which none of us liked. I get it that it wanted to be something different from the classic tartare, but it was cut in big chunks and not marinated at all. My boyfriend did not eat it at all and I could only finish my portion with a lot of bread (and I am a meat person who eats raw meat on a regular base). We then had a carbonara which was very good and two entrecôte with potatoes and grilled veggies. Nothing to say about quality of the meat itself, but everything was totally unseasoned and we were only given some salt to add to our meat. Grilled veggies were disappointing and the potatoes could have used some more time in the oven because they were quite hard to eat. Finally, we shared a tiramisu: it came in a bowl holding a huge amount of cream from which we could fish out two small pieces of savoiardi. In my opinion, that was not a tiramisu and I’d like to remark that when we asked for dessert we were told they had CLASSIC TIRAMISU. That was everything but a classic tiramisu! Finally, the bill for the above mentioned food plus one bier and two bottles of water: 120 euro.
Suggested by local buddies I gave a shot to this Italian steakhouse with some friends of mine. The place is very nice, even if not in a fancy neighborhood, very spacious and they aren’t not crowded with tables, that is a big plus! Waiter showed us the kind of meat they serve and gave advice about the taste of the meat. I had a “degustazione antipasto”, small plates with tastes of fine stuff: it was pretty good but most of the plates got no taste... Then I took Italian meat for me and two friends of mine a big Danish steak to share. My meat was good, but nothing special. Friends’ stuff not that good as well: full of fat and meat got a weird “sweet” taste... Desserts menu was not that wide, we took a tiramisu to share and it tasted kinda fine. After dinner we had a grappa and they served it in a “test tube” (not joking!!! : I found it very weird... Final price was around 45euro that is pretty much in comparison to quality and service. So, overall, it’s an average steakhouse playing to be fancy so a little bit overpriced.
Great dinner, casual place and perfect steak selection. Also the staff was super friendly and competent!
Bad, slow service, bad welcome, long waiting times, with 7 occupied tables, only one person to take orders. Kitchen visible from what I saw dirty in the kitchen without gloves and protection for possible hair loss in the dishes. Meat smelled old, we ordered an appetizer, it came one at a time, there were two of us, one ate and one saw, after 10 minutes the second appetizer came. Second, the meat we asked was slim and rare, Of course they brought us a fat and overcooked meat with the burnt bone, and the side dish of coal, badly smells meat.. Greasy plates and cutlery from the previous table. The bread was in a bowl with 4 small pieces of Stale bread. All these 2 miserable appetizers a pitiful steak a chicory a water a bottle of wine 95 Euro .. value for money and quantity not absolutely acceptable.. I recommend it.. And especially if you go, do not complain, because then dishes come that are different from what you order, and those who take the order and who also give you a bad look that would be the same person who does everything, and also does it wrong in my opinion. definitely not go
