Doña Tere Peruvian - Lathrop

Been wanting to try this place and it did not disappoint!I'm Peruvian so I'm always trying to find the best place around the bay.Decided to start with traditional breakfast pan con chicharron I gotta say it's probably the best one I've had so far. Meat super tender and juicy. Also the tamal was very Peruvian most places that sell tamales something is always missing.I was basically in Peru for a minute.The chicha was on point too.I will be coming back to try the seafood and chicken! Worth the drive from Pleasanton.Super friendly owner too!

Food is delicious. I wish service was faster. Be nice if they had more servers. Other than that, I'm recommending this place to friends and family. Lomo Saltado is super!

Awesome food! I had the Ahi de Gallina plate with maracuya juice we drank waaay too much of this juice, it was delicious). We had the ceviche with mussel shells appetizer which all 5 of us loved as well, there were 12 mussel shells filled with more ceviche mix than we could eat that's what is in my picture). That Ahi de Gallina was so good, it's like comfort food. Will definitely be back!

Last Sunday the 26, we went to this restaurant to have a breakfast at the time that they are supposed be open at 10am. We arrived and we waited for 10 minutes to someone open the door because we listened the music inside but not one opened the door and we left the place to Denny's.

Delicious, home cooked meals. Great service and very friendly people. It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back.
