They had a decent selection of wines which looked to be primarily of Italian origin. The menu is well selected and I’d consider it a small selection but done well. In my opinion this beats out places which have large menu choices but aren’t done as well. The vibe of the venue is genuinely cosy, with an open kitchen and exposed brick which matched the mood of our night. Would come back here again, especially since it’s in the neighbourhood and parking was easy.

Ordered most of the dishes on the menu as well but nothing made me want to go back. Had high expectations due to good reviews. Not sure if we were just unlucky as I just read similar reviews that it can be a hit or miss.

My fave was probably the fillet carpaccio; the combination of everything put together was just delicious – will be back even if it’s just for this!Only critique would be that the music inside the restaurant was too loud that I couldn’t really hear my partner across the table (a little issue when you’re hoping to have a romantic dinner out or maybe we’re just getting old). That being said, service was great and everything from starters to dessert was delicious. We still left feeling very full and satisfied.
