Overall, this place is pretty good. The ribs were excellent and the Saratoga chips were also good. Our group ordered sandwiches and a burger, and everything was prepared as requested. The fries and onion rings were crispy without being greasy or burnt. I had the gobbler sandwich, which was delicious. Two of us had the turkey club and another had a burger, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The only downside was that the desserts were pricey, with a $7 dessert and a $5 root beer float seeming a bit excessive. In my opinion, desserts should be priced around $5 and $2-3. Despite this, dinner was enjoyable. I would recommend skipping dessert and going to a local diner for pie or cheesecake instead.
We had to wait a little to be seated, but it was worth it. The Chicken Caesar salad was fantastic and my wife's bacon cheeseburger was cooked perfectly. The waitress was a bit slow, but I will definitely return to try something else on the menu. The food and restaurant were excellent, but the service from the waitress was not so great.
My wife had the TUSCAN CHICKEN sandwich for $12.99, which was grilled chicken topped with sautéed spinach, roasted red peppers, and fresh mozzarella cheese on a kaiser roll. My sister had a tuna salad platter for $12, and her friend had a bacon cheeseburger with onion rings for $15. I tried their house specialty, CARIBBEAN WHITE CHILI for $5.99, which was made with white beans, chicken, sausage, bacon, and a hint of jerk seasoning, topped with cajun cornbread crumble. It was unique and excellent. The restaurant is known for their popular pork spare ribs, which come in various combo options ranging from $25-$30 and include two side dishes. They also offer a pub rib appetizer with a choice of three sides for $13. The ribs were tender and flavorful, with a good balance of spicy, smokey, and sweet flavors. Overall, this restaurant is a nice and friendly place for drinks, lunch, or dinner. They are open Monday to Saturday from 11:30am to 9pm, and Sunday from 12pm to 8pm. Reservations are recommended on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, especially for seating on their deck. We have visited this restaurant many times with family and friends, and the service and food have always been consistently very good. We look forward to coming back soon. Thank you.
