I have eaten at Bocci's on several occasions and have never been disappointed.I recently went for the weekend Brunch which is reasonably priced with a great selection as well. They have a large selection for lunch and dinner and the service isexcellent ..I would highly recommend it
This is one of the best restaurants for Italian food in Montreal at a decent price ! The portobello mushroom entree is awesome , the subs, the pizza and anything with their homemade pasta sauce is just excellent !The complimentary homemade bread and hot sauce is to die for ! Please try it you will be so thankful that you did !
We decided to revisit Bocci on a Frday night, since we haven't been there for a long time. We were quickly seated, unfortunately not on their terrace, since it was raining. Our waitress, Anja, was very nice and efficient. After giving us some time to look over their menu, she came back with some nice warm bread and butter. None of us had any complaints about our meals.I decided to order from their Table d'Hote and was not disappointed. It started with a nice Caesar salad, no croutons, but with a few slices of fresh anchovies (as I had requested). For my main, I chose their Fettucine alla Lahana ($21.99), which consisted of pasta with green beans, sun dried tomatoes, and minced meat with garlic and olive oil. I loved it but I could only eat about 1/2 my plate. My wife ordered a la carte and chose their Pollo Parmiggiana ($18.99), which came with vegetables and potoatoes. She only ate 1/2 her chicken. Their portions are very big. One of friends ordered their new Bells Audrina pizza ($15.99). It consisted of grilled chicken, mushrooms, kalamata olives, roasted red peppers, olive oil and feta cheese. He really liked it and finished it all. His wife ordered their # 8, Sorpresa dello Chef ( chefs surprise ($25.99), a beautiful thick cut of veal chop, which came with a very nice reduction, potatoes and vegetables. She loved it, as it was cooked just right. Bocci has been around for the last 25 years, so they must be doing something right. Also, maybe because Sam, the manager, runs a well oiled team of servers. He is very hands on. They have renovated since we were last there. They have plenty of room if you need to make a party or business lunch. Also, they now offer Sunday brunch between 10:30 - 3 pm. A reservation is definately a must at all times. They offer a delivery service for the Lasalle area with a minimum order of $10.00 but there could be a charge for other areas of town. Enjoy!
We recently held a company party at Bocci. The event was well organized and the service was excellent. They took great care of our group, ensuring everyone was taken care of. The appetizers were plentiful, with the ribs being a particular standout. The main course was also delicious. Overall, it was a great experience.
You can enjoy brunch, lunch, or dinner at this restaurant. You can even book your next family event there. The restaurant originally started as a sub place, but has since expanded their menu options and space. The owner is fantastic - a great character, a family man who cares for his staff and customers. Best of all, they are consistent, which is a rare find these days. Don't just take my word for it, go try it for yourself!
