Do not get Thai food anywhere else! This is hands down the best Thai food I have ever had anywhere. You can tell the food here is made by someone who is truly passionate about the culinary arts. We have been here maybe 20 times in the last few months and have tried a different item each time we've come. Every dish was absolutely delicious. You can tell the highest quality ingredients go into their food. Highly recomm... View all feedback.
What MaChaNillas doesn't like about What's Zaap? Thai Food:
Attended Guy Feiri’s FlavorTown (feb11). This place was there. Was super excited to try as it has been in my list to try. Their skewer was watered down in sauce, the rice was in a Saran Wrap and the jerky was dry, hard and disgusting! I had to tell my kid to spit it out because she couldn’t chew it. What a terrible representation of yourself in a place where you were chosen to show off your dishes by a person who tho... View all feedback.
Great food and amazing staff. I discovered them first on DoorDash and decided to go in person for the first time. I love their food presentation and casual vibes. I spilled some Thai tea and he was quick to get me a napkin. I ordered the pad see ew and it is delicious. I also love their fire wok cabbage and crab/pumpkin curry. My sister got their egg dish for the first time and it was so delicious. Highly recommend. I even got some takeout for my family ????
The decor of this place is nice and seems fairly clean. When we arrived at night (myself and 3 others), the restaurant had no seats available so we had to wait 5-10 minutes. No biggie. After we were seated it took a while to get menus for everyone (luckily we had grabbed a paper one from front earlier). I believe they only had one person running food and managing the desk area. We ordered our food and it took almost an hour for all of us to get our dishes. The dishes were brought out one at a time, too, which we weren?t used to at a restaurant. The plate they brought my wife was the wrong protein so they took it back to remake it. My wife was the last person to get her food later, with the correct protein this time- but it didn?t seem to match the menu?s description. It was supposed to come with a sauce, cooked in a wok, but it seems like that wasn?t the case. It came with steamed broccoli which had no seasoning and was very bland. My daughter ordered Pad Thai and their presentation is very fancy. She enjoyed it and thought it was delicious. My son ordered garlic rice and thought it was good too. I ordered a Thai omelette and it was okay. Maybe this place was just having a busy/rough night. I?m not sure. There?s lots of good reviews but we walked away disappointed at how long the food took to get to our table, and that it wasn?t correct for my wife initially. We are here visiting for vacation but won?t be returning.
Excellent Thai food, fried rice was flavorful and spring rolls were piping hot and tasty! Could feel the freshness in their ingredients. Liked the good quality plates and dishes they had used to serve food. Their customer service as well as the ambience is filled with warmth. Overall a simple, neat and enjoyable dining experience! Would love to visit again when in this area.
Had the pepper and garlic with chicken, and the chicken satay. Broccoli was fresh, chicken was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was just enough to compliment the dish without overpowering the flavors. Peanut sauce is different but tasty, had a very pretty presentation, and the cucumber salad was good. Overall both tasty dishes, and cleaning the plates were no problem!
Don't let the location or small size of the restaurant disuade you from eating here Hands down the BEST Thai food!! We started with fresh spring rolls, Tom Yum soup and ouf entree's included Red Curry chicken and Drunken Noodles. We eat Thai food frequently, but this is the most authentic and flavorful we've had. Highly recommend!
