What User doesn't like about The Lodge At Shelbourne:
I love the bartenders and servers esp Amanda and Crystal. The machines have a good payout ratio, don't let me get rich, but it doesn't just take my money too. Most employees are long-term employees who are happy there. But the menu is hard. Food is always good, but it hasn't changed for years. They stopped doing specials daily and even took things from the menu like fried pickles (what one of the easiest things to do... View all feedback.
The food was amazing. The service was horrible. We waited almost an hour for our food. The server brought the food out 2 plates at a time and we were done by the time my son and his wife got their food. They weren't even busy. I dont know why it took so long. If the service matched the food it would have been perfect.
The service was outstanding! Our server was so patient with us and everything arrived on time. Prime Rib Fridays is a must.
This location of The Lodge is our goal for 2 items we tend to long quite regularly. We sit at the bar instead of the dining room, although we do not play (like my bff plays now and then). Back to our 2 items Chicken Pot Cajun Pasta. I don't like things very sharp, but this pasta is well balanced. I select the sausage (or give to say bff). But this chicken pot cake soup Lordy, it's good. It is a bowl of chicken pot cake filling w/ chicken and vegetables, with a cookie that makes it better than just a pot cake with this thin crust on it. Just so delicious. The staff is friendly. You can say there are a few regular there every time we go, so it is likely to go a cool neighborhood space. Be warned, although ... the menu is published online is not up to date. So you might find something on the Internet that was not in the restaurant at the age.
All the staff knows me and my family so well. You take care of us.

Compared to places like PTs and Blue Diamond Saloon, if the food options were better, it would be 6 stars.
