What User doesn't like about The Dive:
My fiancée then approached her to explain who we were and that we were there on behalf of a food supplier company. The employee glanced at him and quite rudely told him to “wait,” before turning back to her friends. I was shocked by her unprofessionalism and how poorly this reflected on both the Dive Bar and the pizzeria inside it. Eventually, when she was ready, she called the pizza place.
I hope the owners of both... View all feedback.
The restaurant is aptly named The Dive Bar, as it truly lives up to that title. The environment is quite unkempt. Even if they occasionally feature a good band, it doesn't make much of a difference for me.
Don't get me wrong, this place is a dump. But if you like live music played way too loud on a small indoor stage, bathrooms with more stickers and graffiti than paper products, badass bartender babes, offbeat regulars and randoms, 1998 vintage video poker, shooting pool while drinking PBR tallboys for $3, I guess you are in luck.
I couldn't resist trying a bar called the dive bar. It gives dive bars a bad name. Walked into a filthy dark hole. A ton loud band was playing poorly. I sat at the bar for a solid 10 minutes while the 2 bartenders stood 12 feet away without noticing me, with their backs to the door. I left without being served or acknowledged. Every bar stool was tattered and wobbly. Don't waste your time. Go to PT's. A way better experience.
What truly sets Dive Bar apart is the welcoming atmosphere. I’ve never felt so included at a bar; everyone — from the bartenders to the regular patrons — is incredibly friendly and laid-back. It’s the kind of place where you can strike up a conversation with anyone and feel like you’re among friends. I also had the pleasure of meeting Amelia, one of the lovely bartenders, and I have to say, she made my night unforgettable! Her friendly attitude and expert mixology skills were top-notch. Amelia not only knows how to make a great drink, but she also takes the time to chat with her customers to ensure everyone is having a good time. She suggested some fantastic cocktails that I wouldn’t have picked on my own, and each one was better than the last. What really impressed me about Amelia was her ability to remember regulars and their preferences. It was clear she genuinely cares about her customers and wants them to have the best experience possible. She even took the time to teach me some bartending tricks, which was a blast! If you find yourself at Dive Bar, be sure to ask for Amelia. She'll make you feel at home and ensure you have a night to remember. She’s a real gem with some cool tattoos! Overall, I cannot recommend Dive Bar enough. It’s the kind of place you want to stay at all night and leave only when the sun comes up. If you’re in Vegas, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t regret it! (P.S. There's a pool table too!)
The Dive Bar is everything a Dive bar should be, including its name. The bar is dark, dated with a mixed crowd of locals and tourists. Don't come here expecting it to be anything other than a real dive bar. The Dive Bar is absolutely perfect as it doesn't pretend to be something that it's not.The music can be loud, and the bartenders are friendly. It's everything you should expect to find in any local Dive bar.
