First time at Table 34. Nice, quiet environment with very friendly servers. Good wine list and excellent food. I had the seared salmon with herbed cauliflower puree and sauteed spinach. My dinner companion had the pork chop with sweet potato, broccolini and honey-molasses sauce. It was a huge chop and she raved about it, taking some home. I’ll definitely return. Went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday for my mom birthday. Excellent service and nice atmosphere. Food wasn’t too good. Ordered short rib ravioli and the sauce was so overwhelming that I couldn’t taste the short ribs. Mom ordered the Alaskan halibut and found it too dry. My wife and I have visited this restaurant for both lunch and dinner on several occasions. I have also frequented this establishment when it was under previous ownership. The new owners have revamped the menu, an amazing wine selection and redecorated. It is a night and day difference from a couple years ago. We have enjoyed our meals as well as the ambiance. Seated at the bar during Happy Hour. Ordered the cocktail special Pear Martini (x2), the Shrimp Savoy appetizer off the regular menu, and finished with a pour of Taffers as dessert. Also received the chocolate chip cookie gratis.Martini one of my favorites, love the consistency of the drink craft here.Shrimp had been described to me as garlicky and it was certainly that. My apologies after the fact to my seatmates. The four good sized tails were placed on whar originally were toast pieces, but there was a generous amount of the cream over it all, so the bread naturally got rapidly soggy. Still delicious.Cookie As I've come to expect, the portion was substantial. The dessert arrived in its own mini cast iron skillet, and topped with a large dollop of whipped cream. Perfect crispy edges, soft but not mushy middle, chips at the perfect melt consistency. Yummy!Service as always, perfection. Highly recommend the bar for its chummy atmosphere.
We had a delightful and delicious lunch with great service. The new owners have made wonderful changes without compromising quality of the food or service.
