I visited for the first time and had a wonderful dinner with my family. The food was decent; I had a huge and delicious double burger, while I tried the spicy chicken dish, which was just alright. Overall, I would definitely return. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Rainforest Cafe Las Vegas:
Took the Grand kids here while vising Las Vegas. The children enjoyed the atmosphere and ambience. They also enjoyed their meals consisting of Mac N Cheese, Jurassic Tidbits (chicken nuggets) and Fruit. The Adults enjoyed the Coconut Shrimp. The Fish and Chips would have been better with a more quality type of fish. They did not identify the type in the menu but was probably Tilapia of which I or my wife are not a fa... Located inside the shopping area of Planet Hollywood. Forest themed restaurant. Great for family with kids. The food was good and our waitress was amazing. The seating area was smaller than I expected for a Vegas location comparing to other locations we have been to. Overall we had good experience.
Ambiance cool, service and food horrible for price. We got a taco salad and it was lettuce, ground beef, salsa, sour cream and tortilla chips thrown on the side for $25. I ordered fish tacos and bit into a grease pocket it tasted horrible and burned my lip. They did remove that. We waited an hour and half for our food. It was 3 drink refills and 40 minutes after we finished appetizers that we got our disgusting food.
Not worth the hype. My 8 year old found it too noisy but enjoyed his pasta. My chicken burger was dry. I advised the Server and his response was sorry about that would you like more sauce? The safari fries were just a fancy name for fries. With the amount of Vegas restaurant options, go elsewhere.
A Rainforest Cafe is a wonderland destination where one can be transported to the rainforest and dine on slightly pricey themed foods. You come for the experience, not a place to expect five star dining. The staff at this location were probably the most attentive and helpful staff of any restaurant I've been in for years. Constantly monitoring how I was doing and if I needed drink refills or anything else. Food once ordered came quickly. Wait times are filled with the excitement of the every 20 minute thunderstorm.
My experience this time was quite disappointing. I usually enjoy visiting this restaurant because of its wonderful atmosphere. However, the food was served cold and overcooked. Our waitress barely checked in on us, and the staff seemed somewhat snobby and impolite. The menu has changed so much that I struggled to find anything I liked. I definitely will not be returning.
