Grimaldi's Pizzeria - Las Vegas

We went here on Saturday 7/20/24 at 2:40pm. The hostess told us we had to wait 45 mins for pizza because they were cleaning the oven!! Why didn’t they clean it before they opened at 11am? Needless to say, we left and went somewhere else. We were very disappointed because we wanted to celebrate a birthday there. We might not go back there.

I was having a hard day (car was over heating) so I stopped in for a beer bc my car needed to cool down. I 've usually had good experiences at Grimaldi 's. I ordered a beer to go food from the man working and then they had a shift change. The girl who took over (4pm on Tues the 16th) (and didn 't even have to get me anything but a side of ranch) was incredibly RUDE. She was rude me and she was rude to the others sitting at the bar. The other gal sitting at the bar even called her mean. I asked for a togo cup of water so I could put it in my car that had a leaking radiator and she told me I could walk to CVS. I nicely asked again for a cup of water (not mentioning I was a paying customer) She rolled her eyes and gave it to me. I put it into my car (which everyone working could see me doing from the window) and decided that since she was so rude, I might as well ask for another bc I lived 30 minutes away and didn 't want to get stranded on a 113 degree day. When I politely asked for one more cup of water, she stopped and gave me the ugliest look, walked away, came back and filled it up with an attitude. I left her saying thank you for the water...I was a paying customer and kept quiet to myself the entire time. She should be grateful she even has a job. The others sitting at the bar who overheard me seemed to be very happy that I spoke up. I get it if she was having a bad day, but so was I. Be grateful and if you 're going to show up for work and you can 't quite leave it at the door, don 't take it out on customers. I 'll probably visit this location again (the bartenders at Summerlin were way nicer) (and the people in the kitchen at this location seemed to be very nice and smiled at me) but if I see her behind the bar again, I 'll be turning around.

Food was great. Service used to be top notch at the Rainbow location, now it's just fair. I base this off the past 4 vusits at theat location. They could learn improved customer service, greeting the customer, and being more attentive to each table from the other locations.

Food's mediocre. Server didn't acknowledge me, only the person I went in with. We ended up having to leave. Place is empty on a Saturday night and they're going to be picky about who they serve?

I came in for pizza with my boyfriend on 7/1/24 for pizza. This has been my absolute favorite spot for years and our waitress was even fantastic. My boyfriend wanted to try something new so for whatever reason he decided to get anchovies on his pizza. That didn’t sound particularly appetizing, but I usually try everything. I had one slice and I really didn’t even think it was that good but I ate it anyways, which is the super annoying part. So of course nothing happened to him but I got some VERY BAD FOOD POISONING without a doubt from their pizza ! I won’t go into details but it is 100% from the anchovies. I’m writing this today because I’m super pissed that it has completely ruined my 4th of July plans. I had to fly to another state in this condition and it’s just been awful. I’ve done a lot of research and everything points to improper storage of the fish which is absolutely disgusting. Unfortunately, I won’t ever be able to return back to this place.
