My niece recommended we try Firefly on our trip to Vegas. We had a rental car for the day and decided to visit the southwest location on a Sunday. Even at 4:30 it was very busy. What ZenZan19 doesn't like about Fork&knife Kitchen:
I've been going to Firely for years, but this was my first time to the new location on Buffalo. Menus were almost identical. I did appreciate that this location was brighter inside. The main drawback and reason why I only gave this 3 stars, was the size of the restaurant. It was impossible for us to get seated and leave without asking a bunch of people to scoot their chairs in. Not sure what they'd do if someone came... View all feedback.
This restaurant just relocated from its former Paradise Road location just two weeks ago. I and my date wanted to see how the team was handling this new challenge; we selected Sunday Brunch which is usually a very busy period to ascertain the food and the service in a new, very attractive environment. It was still a little cold to sit outside so we were shown to a table inside. Firefly serves tapas, in addition to a traditional brunch American menu with added Spanish flair. Tapas are small plates that cover a very large range of food that can be shared by diners. The food served is extremely varied covering the gamut of vegetables, seafood, meat and poultry. All plates are exquisitely presented, and prepared with excellent and innovative sauces. It must be said, that every plate we sampled (6 in all) were excellent. Plates are identified as Gluten Free, Vegetarian, Vegan or regular . Our favorites were the Tuna Tartare with a mild green chili dressing, the smoked salmon toasts with capers and cream cheese, the fried calamari with a succulent tartar sauce and the mini lamb chops with ratatouillegarnish perfectly cooked to order (rare). Service was good overall, a little slow at first, but improved a lot as more servers and busspersons got involved with the large influx of customers that filled the restaurant up. Prices are average by Las Vegas standards but are a relatively good deal on a price/quality scale. In summary, this is an attractive restaurant in a central Las Vegas location (E.Flamengo -Paradise neighborhood) that certainly delivers on a promise of excellent, creative food served by a well-trained staff. This is a restaurant to definitively add to your list of places to patronize, be it as a Las Vegas resident or as a visitor.

Our friends equally raved about the mac and cheese, fries, lentil/veg dish, and mussels. They also have good mixed drinks. I wish the location closer to the strip had opened earlier in the day!
We really enjoyed the topas here with unusual Appetizers and entrées. We really enjoyed the bacon wrapped dates which was terrific. Enjoyed the scallop escargots , lamb chops , Diablo shrimp , Mojito’s, and baked goat cheese. Highly recommend this establishment.
We were excited to find a tapas bar, and chose to try the Southwest location. We shared two savory small plates, the Tierra y Mar skewers and Baked Goat Cheese, while waiting for the Mixed Paella to cook (which takes about 40 minutes). Everything was delicious, and we had about half of the paella to take home. There was a nice selection of cocktails and Spanish wines and sangrias. Tables and chairs are rather Spartan, and I didn 't find much ambience. However, the Firefly was packed when we arrived on a Thursday at 6:15, and remained quite busy. After eating there, it was clear why--go for the food!
What a variety of outstanding Tapas! After 6 visits to this chic, trendy and vibrant restaurant, I think I have tried everything on their menu! Tasty, fresh and perfectly presented! Ham Cheese Croquetas, Steak Mushroom Skewers, Firefly Fries, Artichoke Toasts and Rosemary Shrimp Skewers are standouts! Waitstaff is friendly and very attentive. Really darling outside patio! Treat yourself- you won't be disappointed!
