I enjoyed the crispy Vegan Chik'n sandwich with vegan cheese. The vegan chick'n is noticeably healthier than actual chicken because it lacks the animal fat. However, it is still deep fried. The sauce with medium heat is plenty hot. There is also an Impossible burger on the menu. View all feedback.
What RicinBeans doesn't like about Flippin' Good:
This restaurant primarily serves fried chicken with a vegan option available. The sandwich was okay, but the bun was a bit soggy and the vegan chicken wasn't as crispy as I had expected. The fries were just average. Overall, the food is edible, but I would recommend trying the chicken sandwich at Vegenation nearby if it's open. Alternatively, I prefer the more substantial vegan options at Evel Pie across the street. View all feedback.
One of the better fried chicks I had! very good, the staff is nice, I happen to have a vegan guy who serves me. I'm coming back! I have a place right away, but it's obviously a great place to eat!
Best fried chikn sandwich I've had. Please be aware though: even though you order a labeled vegan sandwich and labeled vegan fried pickles, they gave me non-vegan ranch... I clarified with a server and confirmed it wasn't vegan despite ordering only labeled vegan items. Please be aware.
We came here for delicious fried food and we were not disappointed. If you like fried chicken and fried pickles... you will be very happy. This place is a vegans junk food heaven. Definitely not a place you can eat at daily, but they have options- vegan fried chicken, onion rings, French fries, fried pickles and the impossible burger. I’m not sure what more you could ask for from a non vegan place. I can NEVER find vegan fried pickles and vegan onion rings anywhere. It’s awesome that I can be accommodated while eating with non vegan friends.
Service was good, food was good as well. Chick’n had good flavor and a good crunch to it. They recently changed their vegan buns and this one was nice and soft and paired well with the sandwich. Overall we were happy with our selections and would likely comeback again. Con: Heat indicator was a lil off for us. I got med spicy, my daughter got hot and my love got extra hot. We all agreed our heat could have been hotter than they were.
The chicken and breading was good, but the vegan sauce had no flavor and the bun crumbled in my hands. I asked for some extra sauce because there didn't seem to be a lot coming through on the sandwich, but the sauce just happened to be plain. I had to add some sriracha. I wish they had an option of vegan ranch. I got fried pickles and probably could have used it on the sandwich. It was kind of disappointing, but I'm glad they had an option.
