**The Boiling Crab: A Mixed Bag of Culinary Delight and Frustration** The Boiling Crab tantalizes with a lively selection of seafood, particularly known for its lowcountry boil. While many diners enjoy the fun, hands-on experience of cracking open crabs, some report struggles with the shrimp, which can be cumbersome to peel. Prices are reasonable, though some feel the total bill can escalate quickly. Service experiences vary; while friendly staff can enhance the visit, inconsistent management has drawn criticism. With delightful flavors and a vibrant atmosphere, The Boiling Crab remains a popular choice, but potential patrons should come prepared for the messy, yet enjoyable, dining adventure.

I had a fantastic and enjoyable meal at The Boiling Crab on Saturday night. It was my first time visiting, and my daughter and son took me to the Las Vegas location. My grandson and I ordered shrimp and mussels, which were served to us cooked together in a bag. I chose the Cajun seasoning at medium heat, and it was not only delicious but also a lot of fun to dig into the shells. You simply need to drive over, put on a bib, and pile the discarded shells on the table in front of you. Once you embrace this style of eating, you’ll absolutely love it. With cold beer and amazing seafood, you really can’t go wrong. Peace, Big John.

The sausage was acceptable, and the potatoes were okay, but the corn was mushy—just like I experienced on previous visits. It seemed either overcooked or had just been sitting in water. We also sampled the crabs, which were flavorful, but considering the small amount of meat relative to the cost, they weren't worth the price. I'm okay with paying for good food, but our total bill came to $260, plus a $40 tip—so $300 for this meal felt quite excessive. While it was initially entertaining to use my hands to crack open all the crabs and shrimp, it quickly turned messy and became more of a chore than enjoyable.

Overall, it was a good experience! We tried everything on the menu, but the lobster was a bit tough. The staff was friendly, although not particularly charming. I felt a bit let down. Fortunately, there were no problems with the food! Is it my favorite place in LA?

The food here is pretty good. They are a lowcountry boil. They have a wide selection of seafood, appetizers and sides. The prices aren't too bad but I wish they had a special for 2 or some sort of combo. Everything is a la carte. We went on a Fridaynight and the wait was only 10 minutes. Service can be sporadic. This is a solid 4 out of 5 Stars.

Nice experience, the food and the service was really good. I tried the shrimp with their original sauce, Cajun fries and fried calamari. I would?ve liked the option of peeled shrimp, it?s complicated to eat trying to peel them with gloves.
