What User doesn't like about Umami:
The raw fish on the sushi didn't taste very fresh. I would recommend that you get cooked dishes instead. The shrimps with garlic were tasty but all the rest can improve. The cake we had for dessert was really good though. For 15eur per person, you can eat at a restaurant with much better and classier ambiance and food, but if you're like me and my husband who couldn't really decide what to eat that time, this is a go... Excellent service and really delicious fresh food. the food was served immediately with a reasonable price. if they like sushi and enjoy a good fish dish I would go here. there are also many different dishes to choose from. eating in the menu is in the whole u can eat buffet, but u must tell the server what they want and they will make it fresh for them. totally worth it! highly recommended and will go again. beautiful and relaxing atmosphere.
Very good quality, choice and value. Sushi was fresh and the best variety I saw from similar buffet style restaurants. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and we will definitely return.

After a long time we have returned (concluding the Covid-19) and it has been a pleasure, where we had been several times. and the return has been very positive, excellent and very attentive. He's got a lot of us and of course we'll be back.
Umami is located at the top (terrace level) of the Las Arenas shopping centre in central Las Palmas. It can get busy on weekends, but if you come here during weekdays you'll find it fairly quiet and nice. It's an all you can eat buffet with a HUGE difference to most other buffets: a lot of the food is prepared AFTER you order. None of that boring buffet style food where everything is premade and been kept warm for hours.. Umami makes the food as you order. And the food is GOOD. Service is fast and friendly. Regardless if you want to take a break from all the spanish food, if you love Sushi or if you simply want to binge eat on asian food Umami got you covered. Enjoy Umami!
