One of the advantages of living in a city as multicultural as the palms of a large canaria is that you can find any kind of restaurant, which can do the delights of curious stomachs like mine. and the polar restaurant is proof of it. We find it on the sagasta street, parallel to the quarry beach, very close to the hotel cristina. Don't expect a luxury restaurant, with exquisite decoration, no. It looks more like a bar, with its bar and so paper tablecloths, but if we put aside the aesthetics of the place, we can focus on what matters most, the food! the star dish for me and I think for most people who frequent it is the kima nan, lamb meat and chicken served with onion in the nun bread, similar to that of kebab. Very good! and very cheap also, less than 3€. you can accompany it from any of the sauces that offer you: avocado, sweetener or spicy. I prefer avocado, nanny and flavor that I love. But that will depend on the drip of the other. the traffic light is another of my favorite dishes, a chicken and rice carousel. the name in question comes from the colors of the spices that it carries, tandoori (red,) methi (green) and bravo (curry.) may seem a little artificial, but I assure you are of rechupete. besides we can find all kinds of Hindu specialties as chickpeas with semi-picant sauce, rolls of vegetables with cheese, salad with yogurt sauce and nuts, beaks of lamb. among its dessert menu we also find typical delicatessen as ice cream with rose petal syrup and pistachios, highly recommended. It is a very busy place, go the moment you go will be full, so if you drop it, you can order the food to take and enjoy it at some beach banquet. a kima nan staring at sunset. Fucking spit!
Hello everyone! I have been at this restaurant 3 times and it is true that the appearance is a bit thin and the place is very small, but it has its charm. without going for the first time you can not stop asking for kima nan and light rice. in short, a peculiar place, with a traditional Indian food and at the top very cheap. Light rice!
Favourite restaurant in Grand Canaria. Very good food and good prices. I especially liked the Nan Kima (so is the name written in the menu).
Great food. Maybe not authentic indian but who cares! Definitely very well spiced, well priced and yummy!!!
¡menuda estampa!
