Piraten Kro - Larvik

Review of the dinner in July 2022: We were excited to have Thai cuisine. Upon being seated, the waiter informed us that they were out of Thai food, so they could only offer a limited selection of Thai dishes. The pad thai we ordered was spicier than expected, even for us who are used to spice. It was small in portion but tasted very good. The other Thai dishes we tried lacked depth in flavor. The meat dish we had seemed to have little resemblance to Thai cuisine - it was bland and unremarkable. The fries were tasty. The waitress did a good job and we felt well taken care of by her.

The Thai food at this restaurant was very disappointing, with tasteless meat cooked in bland sauce. The service was also lacking, with uneducated staff who seemed to only know how to serve drinks. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory dining experience.
