We went to the restaurant tonight for the 5-course Valentine's special menu. Bringing our own wine with free corkage was a nice bonus! The menu was great and the portion sizes were just right. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Delicious stew with wheaten bread. Many other great dishes. Amazing meringues, freakshakes and scones. Fabulous breakfast menus and other choices, although maybe somewhat limited. There is evening opening and you can bring your own wine. An excellent choice in the town centre.
I had a wonderful Christmas dinner at this restaurant. The food was very tasty, but the only issue for me was that the vegetables and roast potatoes were a bit undercooked and firm. The turkey and ham were succulent, and the gravy was delicious. I would have given a full 5 stars if it wasn't for the undercooked veg and roasties.
I visited this restaurant for the first time on Monday, February 6th. The atmosphere was lively with a glowing fire, and the Ulster fry was the best in town. My two companions also agreed that it was a top choice to visit. The meal was well-made and had an original twist to it.
